RRB ASSISTANT 2023: Educational Qualifications
- You should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. However, preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;
- Working knowledge of Computers is a desirable qualification for the post of RRB PO
Proficiency in the local language
Proficiency in the local language is one of the essential qualifications to be eligible for the post of RRB Assistant as prescribed by the participating Regional Rural Banks.
- As per the notification, candidates who have studied the language of the State in standard VIII or above, as recognized by Government boards of education/schools, or hold a certificate attesting to their proficiency in the local language, will be considered proficient in that language.
- If you do not meet the aforesaid requirement in the local language at the time of selection, you will be given a time of six months from the date of joining to acquire proficiency.
