2. Attempt & Analyze Mock Tests

“There are not many secrets to success. It is simply the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from mistakes”.

A Mock Test is an integral part of your banking exam preparation journey and there is absolutely no substitute for it. It is one of the key factors in conquering this fierce competition. It is only through mock tests that you can analyze your performance and make the necessary changes to avoid the same mistakes in the actual examination.

With the heaps of test preparation material available at the online platforms, consistent & deliberate practice through reliable mock tests is the only way that can help you stand out. Therefore, you need to choose a mock test series that helps you judge your potential and work on your weak areas much before the actual examination.

The following are the key benefits of regularly attempting mock tests at Smartkeeda before the RBI Assistant 2023 examination:

3. Try to Maximize your Attempts

Cracking the prelims of the RBI Assistant Exam is more about strategy than sheer hard work. If we talk about the difficulty level, the preliminary part of the RBI Assistant Exam is not very difficult if you go through the examination pattern, and the level of questions asked in these exams. What makes them a hard nut to crack is the level of competition these days. Once you have a clear understanding of the examination pattern, and the marking scheme, you will be able to develop an effective study plan and make the most out of your preparation.

The RBI Assistant 2023 examination will be conducted in CBT mode with a sectional time limit for each subject. Therefore, speed and accuracy in RBI Assistant 2023 examination will be the two main factors that would decide the fate of a candidate in this exam.

If you go through the previous year’s cutoffs of the prelims of this exam, the cutoff for the RBI Assistant exam is generally high as the level of questions in this round is easy to moderate. So, you should target attempting 95+ questions in prelims to qualify for the next round of the RBI Assistant exam. Therefore, you need to develop your own strategy for the RBI Assistant 2023 examination that will help you to attempt the maximum number of questions with precision within the stipulated time.

You can go through the RBI Assistant Prelims 2022 cutoff for different RBI Zones from the given table:

RBI Zone Name Prelims Cut-Off (UR)
Ahmedabad 87.25
Bengaluru 82.75
Bhopal 89.50
Bhubaneshwar 90.50
Chandigarh 90.75
Chennai 87.25
Guwahati 86.00
Hyderabad 90.25
Jaipur 89.25
Jammu 85.50

Kolkata 90.75
Mumbai 89.25
Nagpur 87.00
New Delhi 89.25
Patna 89.00
Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi 86.50

However, this would not be the case in the RBI Assistant mains examination. Unlike the prelims, this round will test your knowledge & decision-making skills, not your speed.  Therefore, you should practice moderate to difficult-level questions for this round and try to solve them in the given timeframe. RBI Assistant 2023 Mains mock tests will familiarize you with the type of questions that can be asked in this round, validate your preparation and help you create a strategy that you know will work for you. Therefore you should consistently take these mock tests to boost your score in the RBI Assistant mains examination.
